Admission Guidelines for Academic Session 2025-26

Admission Procedure

  • To be a part of G.D. Goenka Public School Dakshineswar, for the session 2025-26 you need to register the child by either personally collecting the registration form from the school office or you can opt for the facility of online registration
  • The forms can be purchased from the school office from Monday- Friday between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
  • Selections for classes Nursery – II would be made on the basis of informal interaction between both the Parents with child and the Principal. There will be no written-test. The date and time for the informal interaction would be intimated to you by the school office.
  • For Class III onwards the admissions will be on the basis of an entrance test and interaction with the Principal.

Documents required at the time of Admission.

  • Photocopy of the Birth certificate duly self attested by the parents
  • Income proof – Salary slip / IT Return / Form 16 / Trade Licence
  • Eight passport size color photographs of the child and four each of both the parents.
  • For class II and above, the previous years report card is mandatory.
  • Origional Transfer Certificate of the previous school to be submitted atleast by 1st week of April, 2024
  • From Class – II onward, a student will be admitted only after submission of a transfer certificate from the previous school

Academic

Balvatika & Class I

It’s a world where their first step is taken in the filed of Education. GDGPS is a place where we have special activity room for kids and a resting place to have a good nap. A place where where they are lead to the land of imagination to the fairy world of learning.

  • Class Size: 30 – 40
  • Years Old: 3 – 6 years
  • Time : 8:30am to 11:45am

Primary Grade

The Next step to learning and Growing. Here students get knowledge in a wider range which help them to think even more. Various activities are conducted so that the child grows in a versatile ways. Child starts thinking and growing on their own.

  • Class Size: 30 – 40
  • Years Old: 7 – 10 years
  • Time : 8:30am to 2:30pm

Secondary Grade

The age and phase where many experiments are done in all streams Learning, activity and so on. Students here are given freedom to thinking and grow. Leaning that this phase is Exciting as there are exposed to many new things which helps them to judge whats right and wrong

  • Class Size: 30 – 40
  • Years Old: 11 – 15 years
  • Time : 8:30am to 2:30pm

Senior Secondary

The two years of the plus two are preparation for the rest of a person 's life. This is crucial to higher education. The guidance, provided to students at this stage, helps them choose their future course of study. Frequent exams, feedback, doubt clearing are key aspects of studies in the plus two section. We at gdg Dakshineswar, provide the best faculty as well as opportunity for coscholastic activity. We are also tied up with fiitjee, for after school counseling for competitive exams.
