White Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm by the little ones of BalVatika 1, 2 & 3 at G.D. Goenka Public School, Dakshineswar. Dressed in elegant shades of white, the children spread an aura of purity, peace, and happiness. Our Nursery students looked absolutely adorable as little white bunnies, adding extra charm to the celebration.

The young learners enthusiastically took part in creative activities like palm-print snowmen, fork-painted flowers, and tear-and-paste art to decorate a beautiful swan. These engaging activities nurtured creativity, fine motor skills, and sensory development, making the day both fun and enriching.

G.D. Goenka Public School emerged as the Champion, clinching the 1st Position at the Times NIE presents Smart Bengal AI Quiz 2025, competing against 78 leading schools across West Bengal.

Organised by Times NIE in association with RCCIIT College and supported by MeitY, Government of India, the prestigious quiz celebrated innovation, critical thinking, and AI readiness among young minds.

The Indian Museum, Kolkata hosted a special cultural presentation, Deepa-Ranjani, on 10 December, celebrating the historic moment of Diwali being inscribed on UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.We are delighted and deeply honoured that GD Goenka Public School, Dakshineswar was invited by the organisers to attend and present a cultural performance on this prestigious occasion.Our young Goenkans showcased their talent with grace and confidence, adding beauty, creativity, and cultural richness to this significant celebration. It is truly a moment of immense pride for our entire Goenkan family to be part of an event that celebrates India’s heritage on a global platform.

Numbers turned into costumes and logic ruled the runway as our Class 3–5 Goenkans proudly showcased mathematical concepts through creative attire — from clocks and cubes to calculators and shapes! The excitement doubled with the Inter-House Math-Mystery Quiz, where students battled rapid-fire sums, puzzles, and brain-twisters, proving that math is not just a subject — it’s FUN, SMART & FULL OF MAGIC! A fun-filled celebration of learning, creativity, and mathematical brilliance!

We are proud to share that our Principal was nominated by the CBSE Training Headquarters to attend the Capacity Building Programme on the Mandatory Implementation of Skill Education (Classes VI–VIII) held at Haryana Vidya Mandir on December 6, 2025.

Along with the Principal, Ms. Sucharita (HOD, Biology) and Mr. Prasun Bhattacharya (CCA Coordinator) also participated, gaining valuable insights to strengthen skill-based learning at our school.
