G.D. Goenka Market – Learning Through Role Play!

To help our little Goenkans of Class I understand the concept of money and the importance of people in our neighbourhood, GD Goenka Public School, Dakshineswar organized a joyful “Enactment on Market” activity.

Dressed as fruit and vegetable sellers, our young learners confidently enacted their roles, talked about buying and selling, and understood the value of money in a fun, interactive way.

The activity beautifully blended concepts from English (A Visit to the Market), Math (Money), and EVS (Neighbourhood)—making learning meaningful, creative, and exciting!

G.D. Goenka Public School, Dakshineswar proudly clinched the 1st Prize in the Unique Business Idea event at Hi5, standing out among 32 leading schools from across the city.

This remarkable achievement came at a prestigious competition organized by NSHM in collaboration with The Times of India.

GD Goenka Public School, Dakshineswar hosted Bio Odyssey on 19th November 2025—an engaging career-awareness session for Classes X and XI. Students explored exciting career opportunities in biology through interactive discussions, inspiring talks, and active participation. The event encouraged scientific curiosity and motivated learners to discover future pathways in research, healthcare, and innovation.

A meaningful Chemistry Career Counselling Session was conducted by the Class XI Science students for Classes X & XI at GD Goenka Public School, Dakshineswar.

With guidance from our Principal Bijaylaxmi Kumar Ma’am, Headmistress Paromita Bagchi Ma’am, and Auditor Kingshuk Ghosh Sir, students explored career paths, top colleges, entrance exams, and essential skills for a bright future in Chemistry.

The air was filled with excitement on 12th November 2025 for the annual Recitation Competition. Our tiny stars from BalVatika 1, 2, and 3 took center stage with infectious energy. Each participant was a visual delight, beautifully dressed in perfectly themed costumes. The children brought their poems to life, enhanced by bright and colourful props. With confident delivery and sweet voices, the children showcased their talent brilliantly. Every recitation was a captivating performance. It was truly a memorable day, celebrating the imagination and youthful flair of our youngest learners.
