GDGPS Outreach Program

Event – Visit to a school named SATHI of underprivileged children
Students Involved – Class IX ,XI & XII
Activity – The students voluntarily contributed Cakes and biscuits from their piggy bank savings and school management was generous enough to give a lot of stationary which were gifted to the underprivileged children.The teachers (Susobhan Sir ,Anusuya Maam ,Avirup sir ) along with the students of GDG Dakshineswar sang several songs for them and the underprivileged children were also sang and recited for us.
Objective – The aim of the event was to inculcate a sense of sharing and caring for others forgetting the selfish needs of own lives alone.
Outcome – The glow of self satisfaction reflected on the faces of the students was amazing.They realized the satisfaction of giving not only gift but own time , feeling and sensation for the ones who all are deprived in many ways in life.
