On January 11th, 2024, the Home Science students of class 11, visited the Parle-G factory in Dhulagarh as a field visit project . Students were asked to take seats in the auditorium and shown a thrilling video regarding the entire process of biscuit and confectionery manufacturing. After having a brief idea, they were taken into the manufacturing unit to show the process – quality checking, moulding, cooling, and packaging. Students were also given some bakery products that were manufactured right in front of them as a gift of farewell. This adventure behind the curtains, integrated with deep insights and knowledge, was thoroughly enjoyed by students.

G D Goenka Public School Dakshineswar hosted their lively Annual Sports Meet 2023 at NKDA Football Stadium Newtown on December 23rd, 2023. The event, graced by special guests and trustee members, featured vibrant displays such as sports drills, house parades, and various sporting competitions. The active participation of parents and teachers added to the energetic atmosphere, making it a memorable day for the school community.
